20 years ago we began the journey to produce the finest, highest quality, recycled solid-wood cabinetry from the greatest wood on earth…Teak! In 2002, designers, contractors, and builders frequented our store to buy hand made recycled teak buffets and furniture pieces to re-purposed into unique bath vanities and kitchen cabinets for their high end remodel projects. It evolved to “just give us your drawing, color,finish and we will build in Java oftentimes in the same factories who building for the most recognized high end furniture brands in the country. We evolved form there to become a full custom shop, creating designs to spec, and producing bespoke teak, stone, metal pieces one at a time by hand in Java, Indonesia.
Our typical client wants something unique, one of kind, or of a style unattainable using standard US and Chinese factory construe too and materials. What we build can not be found in stores or sourced in the USA. Truly original hand made kitchen cabinetry , bath vanities, doors, fireplaces, built-ins, wine-bars, patio furniture, and outdoor cabinetry. Essentially Java become our workshop. Origin makes it happen on the ground 12000 miles away as if it was happening at your local workshop.

Origin Teak works both in the villages “kampung style” and in exclusive factories that produce for some of the biggest brands on the planet. Whether looking to find, build, or produce for a custom project, Origin can build to spec using higher quality production, higher end materials, and lower overall cost to the project owners. Due to our over 25 year exoerience working in Central Java, we engage both family own work shops and multi-million dollar facilities producing hundreds of containers per year. We also have access to a surplus of 100-percent reclaimed teak wood repurposed from old buildings in Java.

Whether for the home, restaurant, hotel, office, or any commercial environment, we have completed hundreds on unique custom requests. Whether you draw it on a napkin or provide full spec we can help translate this into a specific CAD based design for your approval. Darin Klein
COO - Southern California Territory Manager
Darin began with Origin as a customer. Building his gorgeous Pana Point home to resemble old world construction, Darin found our work to be exactly what the wood doctor ordered. He loved it so much he applied his 40 years in the construction to our team and became an investor /partner. He also currently produces the Pacific Teak Mllworks line of outdoor cabinet doors and drawers with us in Java.
